All items offered for sale through our website are priced in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT . Prices exclude postage & packaging & carriage – this is shown separately, where applicable, and is to our standard delivery UK mainland addresses only.We will advise of any charges for delivery to non standard delivery addresses as necessary.
Retention of Title
The goods delivered remain our property until full payment has been received.This website contents and its images are the property of Tree Frog or its suppliers and protected by UK and international law.
You may withdraw from the sale within one week (7 days) without any justification, as long as you send your cancellation in writing (via e-mail) or if you return the goods to us.If you are a professional buyer or freelancer the current statutory provisions for the return of goods shall apply.Your cancellation request will be considered to have been submitted on time if your written notification or the goods are sent back within the timeframe mentioned above.Your statuary rights are not affected.Please send your goods in its original condition & packaging to: 43 High Street, East Grinstead, West Sussex RH19 3AF
Furniture Delivery Prices are calculated on a scale relating to the value of the total order:We have delivered from Scotland to Spain and pride ourselves as being flexible, reliable & courteous.
For other delivery areas outside our ‘standard’ areas please contact us for a quotation. (If possible we will try and arrange deliveries in a ‘run’ therefore reducing the need to charge!)Small item Delivery Smaller furniture items,Mirrors, Lamps & Gifts (up to 25kg) can be sent via our appointed carriers to mainland UK. Unfortunately we reserve the right to make additional charges for delivery to Highlands & Islands, please contact us for a quotation.
Furniture Delivery notification
Delivery times will usually be between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Although a fixed time of day cannot be provided you can ask the driver to contact you an hour or so before they are due to arrive. The goods, or at least the packaging, need to be checked and signed for. In the unlikely case of fault or damage please register this with the driver who will liaise with us.If there is no-one available to accept furniture at an arranged delivery time, and the goods have to be returned to Tree Frog, then the customer will incur a 2nd delivery charge of £35-.Tree Frog would then contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.
Access for Successful ‘standard’ delivery assumes that safe & legal access to the roadside or house is available for a large van. Access to, and through, the house must be clear and of adequate size for your order. It is essential therefore that you check the dimension and size of the goods you have ordered and make sure that each piece can be carried in safely, unobstructed, through passages, doorways, stairwells, landings etc on the way through. If there has been a failed delivery attempt for any of the above reasons, and the goods have to be returned to Tree Frog, then the customer will incur a 2nd delivery charge and re-stocking charge of £50-. Tree Frog would then contact the customer to discuss alternative arrangements.
Our ‘standard’ furniture delivery service is via or own van driver & mate. In order to be helpful we offer to place your furniture in any room but cannot be liable for any damage caused by this activity. Some large, bulky and heavy items such as tables, beds, wardrobes, sideboards, bookcases etc will require at least two people to carry and manoeuvre safely. If you foresee problems with this or any other aspect of the delivery please notify us immediately.
For other than ‘Standard’ delivery we may use a trusted third party. This will be confirmed by us and details given to you.
We have the right to make partial deliveries, as long as they do not cause unreasonable hardship for the customer. When partial shipments are made, additional shipping costs will apply only when prior agreement has been reached.
LONDON CONGESTION CHARGE:
For delivery addresses within the London Congestion Zone, any charges incurred (Mon-Fri 7am-6pm) will be payable by the Customer.
Most of our furniture is made to order, especially for you, from the factory. The lead time provided is an estimate based on our own experience and we will endeavour to deliver the goods to you within this time, within the UK. However, we will not be responsible for unexpected manufacturing or transport delays or any losses, costs, damages or charges you may suffer if we delay, or fail, in supplying you. You will have paid in full for the goods prior to delivery.At the point of delivery you will be required to sign for acceptance of the goods and thereby take full possession and sole responsibility for them.Delivery times for our furniture ranges vary. Some ranges are held in stock in our warehouse; some are arriving on a regular basis whilst others are manufactured to order and have to come from a far off land so incur longer lead times! If there is likely to be a delay we will contact you prior to processing your order.
The price listed on the website for our product at the time of your order will apply to your purchase. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any manufacturing, supplier or transport increases, or if the price shown on the website is wrong due to error or omission.We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard, debit card, which is processed through Barclays merchant services we also accept cheques or cash.

Shortage or damage
All deliveries must be checked and counted upon delivery and checked against the delivery note. Any shortages, faults or damage must be indicated on the delivery note, and/or reported immediately to Tree Frog. Any claim in respect of the above should be made by telephone or e-mail to email@example.com within 48 hours of the delivery: tel 01342 300822.Goods delivered damaged or faulty will be replaced by Tree Frog. Where goods are irreplaceable we will offer a repair, credit note, refund, or offer alternative goods to the customer. We will not be responsible for damage not reported. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
On delivery, the customer should inspect the goods on receipt and notify the company of any defects or damage caused in transit within 48 hours.
If you are not entirely satisfied with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 28 days. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange at our discretion or a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging. We cannot accept items for a refund or exchange if they have been damaged within a dishwasher or by failing to follow our care instructions.
You are responsible for the cost of returning your item(s) to us, unless you received a faulty, damaged or wrongly despatched item.
To return an item, please notify us via email for acceptance & we will send you a returns form, please do not return any item without notifying us first as this could lead to refund not being able to be given.
Colour and finish variation
We have used best endeavours to make our images as representative of the product as possible. Please note however that lighting can affect the perceived colours of images in photographs and that colour can be displayed differently from one computer monitor to another, and so the colours of products seen on the web site may therefore vary from the actual product. Every reasonable effort is made to ensure colour and finish consistency but our products are hand finished and fabric, leather and wood colours/stains and dyes vary among batches.Wood products will exhibit natural variation in colour and grain. We advise that you purchase different items from a range at the same time as they will be made in one batch which will ensure a good colour match.
Some of our furniture has a rustic appearance and feel. This is manufactured using traditional hand skills and will contain blemishes & imperfections such as small surface cracks, knots, splits and holes which will not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. These will usually be sanded, filled and stained for optimum visual effect; this should be treated as a sign of the character of real wood and treasured as such.
Due to the nature of some of our reclaimed or rustic furniture we obviously can not guaruntee where the natural blemishes occur.Information & Specifications All descriptions, drawings, pictures, colours, dimensions and specifications are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products.
